Quick and easy little organising task today, but one that I’ve loved since I set it up.
Generally when I do my nails, I do them while watching some tv (multi tasking don’t you know), but previously my nail polishes were in a toilet bag, my nail polish remover was in the bathroom and I had nail files all over the house! But about about a month ago I organised everything into a cute little tray and now I have my very own ‘manicure caddy’.
Is there anything washi tape can’t do? I ask you!
So today’s post is a quick photo frame makeover. There was very little time investment here, and I used things I had already so it was free, and I’m thrilled with the results. Free makeovers are the best 🙂

I’ve been busy prepping for a big party tomorrow. Myself and the hubby are both turning 30 (eek!). Our birthdays are within weeks of each other so we’ve decided to have a joint party. If you’ve been following on instagram or twitter you’ll have already seen a sneak preview of the birthday banner and the cupcake toppers!
In other news, a family of foxes seems to have taken up residence in the garden behind our office. They are so cute! Like watching puppies playing. It’s like having my very own episode of National Geographic playing outside the window 🙂

Two washi tape posts in one week! I’ll admit I’m a teeny, tiny bit obsessed with the stuff and keep finding more and more uses for it. Today’s use is labeling all those apple chargers we all have roaming our houses.
Drawer dividers are the bees knees! Seriously. They are. They stop a drawer from becoming the dreaded ‘junk drawer’ by keeping everything nice and organised and corralled. Here’s how I DIYed some cute drawer dividers for the top drawer in my work desk using cereal boxes and washi tape.
So if you’re following me on instagram you’ll have seen this picture already earlier in the week (if you’re not following me on instagram you totally should). I wear contact lenses and they’ve just been living inside the boxes they come in, tossed in the back of my toiletries bag, which means every morning I’ve to route through everything to grab out lenses for the day. Which is a pain. But not any longer … check these out!
Wow, it’s Friday already? Where did that week go? It’s been a crazy busy week but I did manage to set up a new Twitter account for the blog so if you want to follow me (and sure why wouldn’t you?) you can find me here. I’m at the wedding of some very good friends today so keep your fingers crossed the weather co-operates for them (it’s Ireland, no matter the time of year, wedding weather will require crossed fingers). So while I’m off sipping champagne and having a good old boogie on the dance floor, here are some things that caught my eye this week, for your viewing pleasure …
First up is this gorgeous playroom storage bench from Nuestra Vida Dulce. It’s actually an Ikea hack (expedit-shelves-turned-benches) and I’m definitely tempted to try do something similar for our hallway to hide our work bags and give us somewhere to sit when we’re putting on our shoes. I love the fabric Joi has used for the seating as well. Amazing!
After living in San Francisco for 2 years, myself and my husband moved back to Dublin and have been renting a little townhouse since January 2012.
