Friday Favourites – 16 August 2013

Happy Friday my lovely readers!

Apologies for abandoning you for the last couple of weeks but a lot has been going on chez Ryan for the last while, I’ll fill you in on all the juicy details soon 🙂

However without further ado here’s this week’s round up of internet loveliness …

First up is this incredible bathroom makeover from one of my favourite organising bloggers iHeart Organizing. What makes it even more incredible is that Jen and her husband completed this transformation in only a week!

Bathroom-Makeover-Before-After

On the subject of makeovers, Making Home Base has a great round up of temporary wall treatments for renters who can’t put up wallpaper. Great examples of using everything from fabric to wallpaper and vinyl to masking tape!

Another fab up to from the Freckled Fox. This is super easy and quick to do but very elegant. You could wear this style for almost any occasion.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

Friday Favourites – 26 July 2013

Happy Friday all!

Hope the sun is shining where you are. The weather is (remarkably) continuing to hold in Ireland, although we’ve had some fairly epic thunder storms the last two nights, but the days are still warm and sunny. Hurray!

On to this week’s round up …

Organising my wrapping paper, gift bags, ribbons etc. has been on my to do list for a while. This gift wrapping trunk is fab and so organised. I love how everything has it’s own place. I also love the idea of using a tension rod to hold the gift bags upright. Great idea!

Organising Keepsake Cards

Organising Keepsake Cards

I came across a blog post a while back on organising keepsake cards, I featured it in a Friday Favourites back in May. It was a really simple idea of using binder rings to keep bundles of cards grouped together. Well, this weekend I finally got around to organising some of my own cards and […]

Vanilla Surprise Cupcakes

Vanilla Surprise Cupcakes Photo 1

It’s Monday morning so I figured everyone could do with some cake … plan? Plan! Best thing about this cake is that it’s calorie free, unless of course you make it and don’t just look at the pictures, but then you’ll be eating cake and therefore will be happy and won’t care about calories.
