Organising Keepsake Cards

I came across a blog post a while back on organising keepsake cards, I featured it in a Friday Favourites back in May. It was a really simple idea of using binder rings to keep bundles of cards grouped together. Well, this weekend I finally got around to organising some of my own cards and I’m thrilled with the result!

Organising Keepsake CardsFor now I’ve organised four bundles – weddings, babies, 30th birthday cards and ‘misc hurrays’.

It includes welcome home cards we got when we moved back from San Francisco, congratulations cards my husband received when he completed his Phd, as well as a few thank you cards.

I’ll probably do some more bundles in the future. I’d like to do one of all the cards we received when we got married, but I’ll have to dig those out of a box that’s in my folks house first.

This method definitely suits me better than all the cards thrown loose into a drawer, which is how I had them ‘organised’ previously!

  2. I love this idea. I am such a hoarder when it comes to cards and things. I never throw them away. But usually they just end up in a shoebox shoved under the bed. this is a great idea!
