Friday Favourites – 5 April 2013

Happy Friday everyone! Here’s a few things I came across on my internet travels this week and had to share!

First up is an AMAZING bedroom make over from Sarah M. Dorsey which was featured on the East Coast Creative blog. Sarah and her husband David made over their bedroom by creating a temporary accent wall and headboard. Sarah and David are renters so everything had to be temporary. They’ve well and truly raised the bar here for rental decor! You’ll be hard pushed to find an excuse not to decorate because you’re renting after seeing this!

Next we have a great linen closet make over by Ashley Brown from 7th House on the Left as featured on iHeart Organizing this week. I love the addition of a pull out drawer to make the most of deep shelves – lots of storage without the hassle of reaching over stuff or having to move a lot of things for access.

I also absolutely love this fab dining room makeover from A Thoughtful Place! It has been so carefully put together with an aqua, yellow and glass pallet. I love how the yellow of the tulips and lemons bring out the yellow in the pictures, and how the side board is tied in to the main table with aqua accents. I also want  that gorgeous chandelier!

Next up are some fab baked goodies from Sweet Sugar Belle. I swear I’m making these for the next baby shower I go to! They are SO cute! And her step-by-step tutorial makes them seem easy not impossible for non-expert cookie decorators.

And last up, a free download from TidyMom has been providing some Spring cheer to my computer this week. The weather is still VERY cold here in Dublin, but this cheerful desktop image has been putting a smile on my face all week.

Happy Friday everyone and have a great weekend!
